General Glazing Highlights
This home required extensive layout as the doors in the home ranged from eight feet to thirteen feet six with eighth of an inch clearances around each door edge. The doors installed were steel frames wrapped in solid teak with matching teak jambs. There were single doors, pairs and pocket sliders installed throughout the interior and exterior of the home. Northstar manufactured these as well as the massive and impressive aluminum dining room doors. On one side of the room is a fifteen foot wide by tweve foot tall single sliding pocket door matched by a pair of pivot doors with the same opening dimensions. Both open to bring the outdoors in giving the dining room a unique and breathtaking look. We also provided custom zero sight line channels for all of the fixed glazing.
