General Glazing Highlights
This vacation home required the use of the Profilit Glazing System by Pilkington which uses an interlocking channel glass system allowing light transmittance, but also providing a high level of sound and temperature insulation. A custom configured door within the Profilit Channel Glass wall system was a unique feature of this glazing project. By using custom steel window frames in other areas of the home we were able to provide window openings with minimal obstruction to the views outside. A large glazed entry door was custom built with aluminum framing to maintain the open look of the home, while the Ventana Aluminum Windows at either end of the home reached over twenty feet allowing for extensive natural light.
